Uzair Moosa

Uzair Moosa is the CEO of Swapp, a UAE-based mobility platform transforming how consumers access vehicles through flexible subscription and rental models.

With more than two decades of leadership experience across mobility, technology and consumer businesses in the Middle East, Australia and Europe, Uzair has worked across automotive mobility, ride-hailing and aviation. He was Careem’s first employee in Saudi Arabia, helping build what became one of the company’s largest markets prior to its $3.1 billion acquisition by Uber.

At Swapp, Uzair is focused on the future of vehicle access and the transition towards more sustainable mobility. This includes working with automotive and fleet partners to accelerate consumer adoption of electric vehicles, reducing barriers such as long-term ownership commitments and technology uncertainty, and exploring how subscription models, connected experiences and emerging technologies can reshape automotive mobility across the region.

Uzair holds an MBA from INSEAD.
