Saurabh Khanna

Saurabh Khanna is Global Managing Partner at T&A Consulting, an international trade, FDI and market development advisory firm with offices in India, the United Kingdom, Canada and the UAE. Based in Toronto, he leads the firm’s global engagements, advising economic development organisations, investment promotion agencies and corporations on cross-border expansion, investment attraction and market entry. Saurabh began his career at Hyundai Corporation as part of its South Asia team, where he gained direct experience of the automotive and construction industries. He later worked as a private consultant to Wrightbus on its India joint venture with Daimler. On that project he supported Wrightbus in negotiating the terms of the JV and in setting up its composite and coach building plant in India, which Daimler later acquired. He moved into business consulting in 2011 and has since guided more than 200 international companies on market entry, led feasibility studies, due diligence and supply-chain assessments for Fortune 500 companies and SMEs, and directed some of T&A's highest-profile trade and investment missions. At T&A, Saurabh advises automotive OEMs and auto component manufacturers on international expansion across India, the United States and the Middle East. His work covers market assessment, site selection, partner identification and engagement with government and regulators. He maintains close working relationships with the government relations teams at these companies, which gives him a practical view of how policy, incentives and localisation requirements shape investment decisions in the mobility sector.
