Dr. Hamid Haqparwar

Dr. Hamid Haqparwar is the Managing Director and CEO of AGMC Group in the UAE, where he oversees a portfolio of automotive and mobility businesses including BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, BMW Motorrad, Geely, INEOS, Lotus, Budget Rent a Car, and Pitstop360.

He built his two-decade long career in the automotive industry through a range of roles with international OEMs, working across Europe, India, and the Middle East. His experience covers sales, network development, and general management before moving into senior executive leadership positions in the region.

At AGMC, he manages a multi-brand operation and has been involved in expanding the business beyond traditional vehicle retail into broader mobility and service offerings. Dr. Haqparwar holds a PhD and other several academic degrees from Europe and US Universities. He also serves on the board of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce and is an honorary senate member for the University of Europe, contributing to strengthening academia and business relations between Germany and the UAE.

He leads a workforce of over 2,800 employees across multiple locations in the UAE and is known for a structured, data-driven management approach.
